Sat. - Jun. 2 - "Dresser" Card Class - 10 a.m. - Noon - $20:br::br:

We'll be making 3 of these cute lil' cards that look like old fashioned dressers!  Bring your workshop kits!  Drop by the store to sign up.   Cards are on display in the store.

Tues. - Jun. 5  - Coloring w/Alcohol Markers Class - 6 - 8 p.m. - $10:br:br:

We will be playing with the new Spectrum Noir alcohol markers that Kate found!  We will be blending, coloring,

etc.  If you've ever wanted the Copic alcohol markers, but couldn't afford them, this is the class for you!  These

AWESOME alcohol markers are only $2 each!!! (Vs. $6.99 EA for the Copics!)  FUN!!!  We will be making some card

fronts and some embellishments.  No need to bring anything!  If you order these awesome markers after the class,  

you will get 15% off!!!!  (As well as 15% off anything else we use during class.)  Pre-payment is required

I am SO totally excited!!!  Three big-time scrapping and card-making ladies (one used to own a scrapbooking STORE) came into the store today from Decatur.  They saw I was having a Secondhand Scrapbook Sale, and were saying they had enough product between the three of them to FILL ALL TWELVE tables in the back room, PLUS some!!!  They are going to bring everything in so I can have it put out by Monday, 6/18!  I can't WAIT!  One lady has an Escalade FULL of stuff!  The other two have a ton as well!  We will have papers, embellishments, kits, Disney albums, tools, stamps, inks, etc.!  ALL AT RUMMAGE SALE PRICES!  Hope to see you during these two weeks for some fantastic savings!!!!  Sale will run Monday, 6/18 - ????

Cricut Expression for Sale!!!

We have ONE Cricut Expression machine here for sale in the Secondhand Scrapbook sale stuff.  It just came in today.  It will take the 12 X 12 or the 12 X 24" mats.  It also comes with two complete cartridges!!!  It has been used possibly a dozen times or less, and she would like $100 for it.

New alcohol markers and other items in!!!

Ladies, We now have the entire range of Spectrum Noir alcohol markers!! These include 12 sets of 6 markers each! These are really all you will need for coloring, although we also have the additional sets of 24 markers each of the "Darks", "Lights", and "Pastels" if you'd like to add to your collection. We also have the zippered pouches for storing the markers, plus extra nibs. I'll be ordering the ink refills in a few weeks! Remember, we're having a shading/coloring class on Tues., 6/5 from 6 - 8 p.m. You won't need to bring anything. (If you have your own set of alcohol markers (of any brand), please bring them along). Also new in: Wedding tuxedo embellishments; 5 X 7 acrylic stamp blocks (for the larger background stamps, etc.); the Cut, Fold, and Tuck dies are back in; new T-ball stickers & die cuts; GORGEOUS white w/silver fillagree vine papers (AWESOME for weddings!); new "Getaway" Glitter paper from Paper House. VERY PRETTY! It shows an awesome beach/ocean scene w/the words "Getaway" and some flourishes in an opaque white glitter! NICE! Coloring Class/New Product!

Ladies, The coloring with the alcohol markers will be on Tues. - 6/5 - from 6 - 8 p.m. The cost will be $10. All you need to bring is YOU (and 20 - 35 friends! lol). We will have the markers on hand, and they will be 15% off if you buy or order after class! If you can't make this class, not to worry, we'll have it again in July. You might want to shoot me an e-mail and let me know when would be a good time for you to take the class so I can schedule accordingly. NEW PRODUCT!!! Bo Bunny has knocked it out of the ballpark once again with their new line called, "Little Miss". I have the collection here in the store now. Coloring Class Mon. 5/29 Cancelled!

Ladies, Sorry to do this to you, but I've been boning up on the Spectrum Noir markers for our class, and just now realized that I need a special paper to use these pens correctly. I'm going to postpone the class until I get more markers in, and also the special paper we need! Can't WAIT to start coloring with these awesome pens!!! I'll blog when I get the next class set up! Gypsy Clearance!

Ladies, I have one Gypsy for the Cricut here in the store. I am not going to carry them anymore, so I'm clearancing this one out. Normal retail for this awesome machine is $299.99. I will be pricing this one to SELL, at only $114.99! Remember, only one left, so if you want it, hurry on in! This machine allows you to load your cartridges onto it, and then weld, enlarge, combine, and design to your heart's content. When you get home, you just plug it in to your Cricut machine and hit "cut". It is very portable, so you can keep it in your purse and design whenever you are stuck at a train crossing, waiting at the ballpark, or just generally bored! The Gypsy comes pre-loaded with TWO cartridges: Gypsy Font, and Gypsy Wanderings. Hurry, hurry, hurry! :-) Bev

Fun With Paper!

Ladies, Just wanted to show you what fun we've been having with paper! The frame I did for a customer. Isn't it amazing how neat your pictures look in a frame with just a little bit of color and journaling around them? What an awesome gift for someone! They'll remember it for life. The bouquet was brought in by one of my customers, whose niece made the flowers out of.....are you ready for this???.....Yup, that's right....SCRAPBOOK PAPER!!!! Awesomely awesome! A whole new way to look at weddings! (And you don't even have to refrigerate the flowers after the ceremony!!!) Can we say....SAVE MONEY??? Also, I'm throwing this one in for free

just cuz' I'm bored today. lol. Do you like my daughter's new hat?

New Card Class in May!!!

Ladies, I'll be updating the May Calendar of Events, but wanted to give you a separate heads up...we will be having two card classes featuring 3D, engineered cards. These cards are CUTE and stand up or fold flat for mailing. Baby 3D Engineered Card Class - Tues. - May 29 - 6 - 8 p.m. - $20 Deadline for sign up is Fri., May 25. Bring your workshop kits and have FUN learning how to make these adorable cards. You will also leave with the templates and skills to design more!:br::br: Dresser Cards Class - Sat. - Jun. 2 - 10 a.m. - Noon - $20 3D Engineered cards that look like lil' dressers. These have been on display in the store recently. Bring your workshop kits and a friend, neighbor, daughter, etc. and have fun learning how easy it is to make these unique, cute lil' cards! Authentique/ Scrapbook Easel

We just got in over 4 Authentique collections. We now have: Fresh (my FAVORITE!), Carefree, Genuine, Miracle Boy, and Miracle Girl. Have been trying to post pictures of them all day, with no luck! This is my last attempt. If no pics, I apologize! :-(

Also, look at the awesome Scrapbook Easel!!!! These are awesomely awesome! I thought I'd never use it, but tried it at a crop, and I'm in LOVE with it!!! These are supposed to retail for $79.99, but I can get them to you for $59.99 each! They have super strong magnets to hold thru 6 layers of paper while you design! They eliminate neck and back pain and provide a better view of your project. Also, I found that I don't lose all the lil' pieces I'm assembling among all my other papers, tools, etc. while I'm scrapping. These awesome magnetic easels fold flat for easy portability. Prayer Request

Please be in prayer for my children's dad. His name is Jim. He is dying from pancreatic cancer and has less than a week to live. Please pray for him, his new wife, his family, the kids, and even me. He will be spending eternity in Heaven, but the getting there will not be fun. Thanx so much! Bev
