Just wanted to jot a short note about new product that we've been getting in.
Just got in some ADORABLE clear tubes! These are SO cute! Just add M & M's, Skittles, Cocoa mix, soup mix, whatever!!!....and then add a cute tag around the lid. These make awesome lil' gifts.

Also, we have some cute new chipboard albums in. Quick and east. Great gift ideas.

We also just got in some Ka-UTE lil' Chinese take out boxes. These are 2.75" X 2.25" and would make adorable lil' party or wedding favor boxes, gift boxes, or whatever you can dream of to use them for.

Thurs. – Jan. 13 – Daytime Crop – 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. - $10

Drop the kiddies off at school, and then come on in for a daytime crop. You will be served a light brunch. You can leave and pick up the kids from school right from the store, or stay and crop until the store closes.
Weds. – Jan. 19 – 6 – 8 p.m. – Stamp of the Month Class - $15

You must purchase the stamp of the month (20% off normal retail price for class members). We will be making 3 adorable cards using the new, and might I say….fabulous Tim Holtz stamps! Bring your workshop kits and prepare to join in the fun! We will have a Stamp of the Month Card Class each month! Woo HOO!

New Stuff-A-Roo!

I am so excited I can hardly contain myself! I got so sick of looking at the same papers, that I just placed an order for over $1,000.00 worth of Graphic 45 papers. If you haven't had a chance to check these out, you can view them at: www.g45papers.com. They are VERY pretty double sided papers that have a vintage type look/feel. One side is usually very decorative, and the reverse side usually has a nice small print to coordinate. Also, they have sheets of die cut tags and frames that match several. I have been sitting on the edge of my seat, waiting for the Fed Ex guy! They should be in any day! Woo HOO!

Also, on the way in are many of Tim Holtz's stamps. These are awesomely awesome stamps and are wildly popular. What a nice Christmas idea for yourself or that serious stamper/card maker/scrapper in your life!!!!

Halloween Parade

Halloween Photo Shoot

Ladies,

We still need at least ten more people signed up for the Halloween photo shoot to be a "go". Please call the store this week if you are at all interested in participating. Remember, you can bring your kids (or spouses) dressed up in their Halloween costumes or not, you can bring your pets, your family, do a portrait of just you and your Sweetie....we don't care! We will have a "fall" background, so anything is possible. What an awesome way to get the jump on some family photos for Christmas!!! There's a lot going on around here this week. We are getting ready to participate in the Halloween parade AND find the time to play with all of the new papers & embellishments that just arrived.
We have 3 new Christmas papers that are to die for! The papers are embossed & the colors are simply luscious. We also have some new Disney papers. Tinkerbell never looked so good! (I'll post pics as soon as I remember to take my camera to work with me.)
The kits for the "pages of the month" are quickly dwindling. If you have months that you need to fill in, you better not put off picking them up for very long.

I am selling off the remainder of the 2010 Calendar in a Year Page kits. These are very elaborate pages and are all pre-cut for you. Hurry, hurry, hurry....before they are all gone! $20 per set.

October Class Schedule

Wow! It's not even mid-October, and Bev has the class calendar posted already! Woo HOO! Please call the store if you have any questions.

Thurs. – Oct. 7 – Acrylic or Chipboard Album Class – 6 – 8 p.m. – FREE!

We will be learning how to use the awesome acrylic or chipboard letters to make your own personalized albums (spell anything up to 8 letters long!!!). These make AWESOMELY AWESOME Christmas gifts! I will supply teaching only. The products you use beyond your workshop kits must be purchased from the store on an as needed basis. (This way you can customize your albums exactly the way you want to!!!) Call the store to sign up. If you have a Tim Holtz craft mat, please bring it, also a craft knife and self healing cutting mat. I have these available to purchase in the store and a couple available to borrow. We will try to get 2 to 3 letters completed and can schedule another class in November to complete the albums, or if you feel confident enough, you can take them home and complete them on your own.


Weds. – Oct. 20 – Christmas Gift Planner Class – 6 – 8 p.m. – $15

We will be completing an altered composition book (Christmas themed) to be used as a gift planner, gift, idea springboard, etc. The planner is GORGEOUS and comes complete with inner pockets, 4 adorable bookmarks, etc. We will also be enjoying hot cocoa and cookies while working! Get the jump on making those handmade Christmas gifts now!

Sat. – Oct. 23 – Pre-payments for Halloween Shoot due in by 2:00 p.m. ($15)

Sun. – Oct. 31 – Halloween Photo Shoot featuring photos by Donna from Natural Reflections Studio!!! – $35

Three 5 X 7′s; four 4 X 6′s; and eight wallets! An over $90 sale from the normal retail price!!! We will be using a fall set, so pics can be for fall, or with Halloween costumes. This photo shoot is for kids, adults, families, pets, couples. We don’t care! Donna does awesome work! Shoot will be cancelled if 15 people don’t sign up. (We already have three! Woo HOO!) A non-refundable fee of $15 is due by Sat. Oct. 23 to participate. Shoots will be 15 – 20 min. long. Calendar in a Year Page Kits

I have made a total of 12 page kits for each month of the Calendar in a Year class. I haven't heard from several of you as to whether or not you are interested in continuing the class. Please let me know by the end of September if you are still interested. I will be selling off the surplus kits first come first served starting in October. I am posting the July page kits on here, and have several kits left, and the capability to make approximately 10 more kits if necessary. If you would like one of these kits, they are $20. Pretty much everything is pre-cut for you, and if you assemble them at your convenience at the store, you may borrow the stamps, Viva Pearl pens, etc. that I have used to create them. Halloween/Fall Photo Shoot

Ladies,

Here is a flyer about the upcoming Fall/Halloween Photo Shoot. Donna from Natural Reflections does AWESOME work! We have set this up to coincide with Trick-or-Treating so that the lil' ones don't have to dress up twice. If you don't do Halloween, go ahead and come on in. The set will be a fall set that can be used for either regular Fall or Trick-or-Treat pictures. You must pre-pay $15 at the store by no later than Saturday Oct. 23. This will hold your spot. Appointments will be every 15 - 20 mnin. Pre-payments are non-refundable. We will also be giving out Halloween candy. Woo HOO! Please also note: There is an additional $5 sitting fee that you can't really see on the flier on here, so the total cost will be $35. COWBOY UP!!

Saddle up them horses, pardner! The August pages have been rustled up & are ready to be branded. These pages are fun & loaded with great lil details.

If you haven't had a chance to stop by the shop yet & check out the new collection of Graphics 45 HALLOWE'EN IN WONDERLAND paper, you really ought to. I had a little free time today & dug into my stash. This is such a fun collection to play with. The possibilities are endless. This is what I have put together so far & I still have a few ideas up my sleeve.
I'm thinking that the shadow box would make a great class project. This one is perfect for Halloween & it can easily be switched out for Thanksgiving & then again for Christmas.
So, I have a free night on Wednesday, Sept. 29th. If you are interested in putting one of the shadow boxes together, just stop by the shop or give us a call to reserve your spot. The fee will be $30 & all you will need to bring is your basic class kit. The shadow box & all of the goodies that go in it will be provided. I hope that you can join us!!

Halloween Eats & Treats Class

Kate just brought in the samples for her "Halloween Eats 'N Treats" Class. She has 2 completed, and 2 up her sleeve! The ones I saw were a "Mummy" cover for candy bars, and a cute cover for microwave popcorn. These would be a great family project to dress up those goodies for the little ghouls and goblins in your life!

Also, the Cuttlebug Christmas cards are now on display in the store. Learn about the versatility and different techniques for the Cuttlebug machine, distress inks, punches, etc.

New 1/4" ATG Guns & Info about PJ Crop

Ladies,

For those of you that have always wanted an ATG gun, but didn't want to shell out the $50 bucks to get one, we now have the perfect solution for you! Scotch has come out with a new 1/4" pink ATG gun for $26.99. It comes with two 36 yard rolls of tape! Woo HOO! The only difference between this gun and the red handled gun is that the new one is not a commercial grade gun. It is still a good ATG gun, but is not quite as sturdy as the original. Part of the proceeds for this new gun go to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure breast cancer research foundation. I only have 9 guns in, so hurry! (One just flew out the door!)

Upcoming Photo Shoot by Natural Reflections!!!

I am SO excited about our upcoming photo shoot. Donna from Natural Reflections will come into the store and we'll do a photo shoot! Woo HOO! If we build a decent following, we will do another shoot for Christmas, Easter, etc. She has cute western sets, lil' pink tutus for fun lil' girl shots, etc.! FUN! Please get the word out and lets make this happen!!!!

On Halloween, Sun., Oct. 31st, from 1 p.m. - 6 p.m., we will have a cute Halloween set all made up and ready to go. Before the kids go trick or treating at 6 p.m., bring them by the store for a quick photo shoot and some candy! What a great way to preserve the memories of those cute kids and their adorable costumes!!!

You will receive three 5 X 7's; three 4 X 6's;, and 8 wallets (all of the same pose) for (are you sitting down?).............only $30.00!!!! That's right! A professional shoot for only $30.00!!!!! (Normal price for this shoot and these prints would run $92.00!!!!) Donna will be sending me pics of some of her work in the next few weeks, and I'll post it on here. She does AWESOME work and has done professional shoots of my children.

Tim Holtz Stuff

Ladies,

Just wanted to pass along how pleased I am with the Tim Holtz "tin snips". These are nice, handy serated scissors. They are compact, sturdy, and easy to use. I have personally used them to cut thick cardboard, acrylic sheets, chains (smallish), etc. It's rather like running a hot knife through butter! You can also cut the grungepapers and boards easily with these, as well as even tin! I bought a pair to use at the store, and have found them so useful that I'm going to order a pair to use at home as well!

Also, we opened up a package of the Tim Holtz Tissue Tapes. These are SO way cool! They are a nice, vintage looking "ribbon" made from tissue paper. They are already adhesive, so you just peel off what you want, cut, and stick. There is an example hanging in the Tim Holz section of the store. FUN!

CARD CONTEST!!!!

Pick up a card kit at the store for .50 cents and design a card with what is in the kit. You may add anything to it that you'd like, as long as it can be purchased here at the store. I will pick 3 winners. I am wanting the winners to be on my design team. As a member of the design team, I'll be having you help me with FUN projects....designing cards, having classes, etc. I will make sure you are compensated in product for your time and effort. Designed cards from the card kits are due back into the store by Fri. - Aug. 6 before closing.
