We now have the new Spectrum Noir markers in.  Here is what the manufacturer has to say about them:

We are very proud to announce to our customers first, that we will be releasing brand new, completely redesigned Spectrum Noir Markers on October 1st, 2013. These markers have been a collaboration of customer feedback, suggestions for improvements and a desire for us to create the best possible marker without increasing pricing.

The brand new line of markers incorporates dramatic upgrades, including…

 

• Ergonomic design for greater comfort.
• A unique, no slip grip for greater control.
• Compatibility with a new available brush nib, sold separately.
• Double locking caps for prolonged product life.
• A new hexagonal barrel design that holds more ink.
• Reformulated ink for increased consistency and better blending.
• An ink formulated for maximum compatibility with a new line of blendable oil-based pencils coming in January 2014.
