Chalkboard Paints?

Someone at the last crop was asking about Chalkboard paints. If so, I want to order some, but are we talking about "chalkboard paint" that actually makes the surface a chalkboard (different colors available), or the Chalky finish paints?  Here is a description of them (the Chalky finish paints):  Achieving a vintage, time-worn look is simple if you start with the right paint. Americana's Chalky Finish paint is ultra-matte, available in 29 intermixable colors. No priming or prep is needed. It will adhere to even the slickest surfaces. One-coat coverage and is water-based for easy clean up.
