Please bring a paper cutter (if you have one) a pair of scissors & your favorite adhesive. Everything else will be furnished.
Preregistration with payment is required.


March 18th & 19th CROP-A-PALOOZA

$30.00 2 day cropping event with meals, snacks, drinks, games prizes & more!!!!
Please reserve your seat early. Space is limited.
$25.oo if you prefer to do Saturday only.


March 22nd, Tuesday 6-8PM BURSTING WITH BLOOMS

$15.00 We will be making 3 cards. Each will be adorned with its own handmade floral embellishment

Please bring scissors & your favorite adhesive. All other supplies will be furnished

March 23rd, Wednesday 6-8PM CARDS TO "DIE" FOR

$20.00 We will be making 4 cards using assorted dies in some rather unique ways.
Please bring basic class kit.
Preregistration with payment is required.


March 29th, Tuesday FLOWER SOFT CARDS by BEV 6-8PM

$1.00 per card. Make 1 or 5 or more. Display is in the store.
Please bring you class kit. All other supplies will be furnished.
Let us know if you are planning on being there.


March 30th, Wednesday KARDS WITH KATE 6-9PM

We will be making 12 all occasion cards. Birthdays, sympathy, wedding, etc.

$35.00 Preregistration with payment is required no later than 48 hrs. prior to the class so that proper prep work can be done.
Bring your basic class kit. All other supplies will be furnished.


March 31st, Thursday MASCULINE CARDS 6-8PM

$15.00 We will be making 4 cards perfect the men in your life.
Pregistration with payment is required.

Snacks & drinks will be served on Friday evening. Lunch, supper, snacks & drinks will be served on Saturday.
There will be games, prizes & give-aways.
Seating will be limited, so sign up early.

Here is the one that everyone has been waiting for!! With the release of the GRAND CALIBUR & our new (or renewed) obsession with SPELLBINDER dies, we now need a safe & practical way to store our treasures.

CLASS INFO:

Wed. March 16th at 6 PM

The binder measures 12 x9 & includes 3 folders (for storing notes, leftovers, etc.) & 3 magnetic pages.

Please bring your paper cutter, scissors & your favorite adhesive. All other supplies will be furnished.

Cost of the class is $35.00. Preregistration with payment needs to be completed at least 48 hrs. in advance so that all prep work can be completed. If you are unable to attend the class for any reason, a kit with written instructions wil be provided.

Just got back from spending the day yesterday at Gi Gi's Retreat in Dix, Illinois. This is a gorgeous get-away location for a wonderful scrapbooking/card making retreat! We had awesome tables, lunch, snacks, drinks, views, tools, and fellowship! Check out the pics!

Got Dull Scissors? Need Sharp Scissors? We can help!!!!

Ladies,

I (Bev) am sick of my favorite scissors being dull! Sooooo, in order to fix this problem, I'm going to have a scissor sharpener come and sharpen our scissors! Woo HOO! The cost is $3.00 per pair and $6.00 for pinking shears. He's not sure he can sharpen the "specialty" scissors yet, but he'll experiment with a pair of mine. It will be $6.00 per specialty pair as well.

If you are interested in having any scissors sharpened, drop them in a Ziploc, make sure your name is on the Ziploc with marker please, and drop them off at the store by close of business on Monday, February 28. The scissors will be picked up, sharpened, and returned to the store by Friday, March 4. You can pay for the sharpening when you pick up your scissors. Please note, if you know anyone that would like scissors sharpened, we'll be happy to get it done for them. They don't have to be a scrapper or a cardmaker!

The November page kits for the Album in a Year are finally done....thanks much to Tammy Collins for all of her help!!!!! There are only 5 page kits left, so come on in and snap them up! (Btw, I used the Grand Calibur on these pages, and boy, was it ever fun!!!!)

Whether you are a card maker, or a scrapper, please take a few moments to check out the "Idea Gallery" at: www.spellbinderspaperarts.com to see what amazing cards and pages can be made with the Grand Calibur!!! This machine is MUCH less expensive than a Cricut (the Grand Calibur sells for $129.99), and I would much rather have this machine than the Cricut (and I do have both). For me, the biggest draw is the texture added to the cuts when you emboss. Instead of "flat", boring pieces, they are elegant, raised, and gorgeous!

I have a Grand Calibur at the store, and will be happy to demo it to anyone next time you are in.

Fingertip craft knives. We tried these lil' craft knives out and LOVE them. They are so much easier to control than the regular type craft knives. Reduced slippage, easier to apply pressure, etc. We give it a 13 on a scale of 1 - 10!

Starbook Album

Ladies,

Here are some pics of the cute lil' starbook album we will be creating on Thurs. - Feb. 17 at 6 p.m. This adorable little album closes and ties with ribbon, or you can tie it open to showcase all of your adorable pages in a star design! We will be creating the album and doing some embossing on the inside pages. Space is limited, so hurry on in to sign up! The cost is $25.

Here are some pics of Mary's AWESOME Boardbook that we will be creating on Tues. - Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. This adorable, sturdy album is so stinkin' cute! Pictures never do our creations justice! The front of the album is a soft, velvety feeling cover made from (get this.....) PAPER! The cost for the class is $20. Space is limited. We will be creating the book only...you will be able to decorate the inside of the book any way you would like at a later time. We will be making an ADORABLE mini album using chipboard, etc. You will be decorating it on your own. We will be focusing on actually making the album during class. Display is in the store now.

Weds. - Feb. 23 - 6 - 8 p.m. - Spellbinder Magnetic Storage Book Class - $35

For any of you that have the Nestabilities, Borderabilities, Edgeabilities, Frameabilites, etc.....this is the class for you! I'm SO excited! At last! A nice, neat way to store my dies without having to cut my fingers every time I pry them out of the package to use! I will definitely be making one of these for my dies! Just stick the dies on the magnetic pages, and...VOILA!!!! No digging, hunting, sorting, etc.

Thurs. - Feb. 24 - 6 p.m. - ? - Kards with Kate - $30

You will be creating TWELVE all occasion cards. How awesome to have these all made up in advance for those special birthdays, etc.
