Friday - Jan 6 - PJ Crop (Ashley's last crop with us!) - 5 p.m - Midnite - $5 & a snack.
Bring a snack and join us for a night of cropping, crafting, and just plain craziness!
Sat. - Jan. 7 - Beginning Scrapbooking - 2 - 4 p.m. - $20
Start the new year off right! Start preserving those priceless memories! Bring 4 - 6 pictures of the same event, and we will create two 12 X 12 pages. Bring adhesive if you have it.
Tues. - Jan. 17 - Valentine Card Class #1 - 6 - 8 p.m.= $5 for the class and an additional $1 per card
Bring your workshop kits and craft and create all the Valentine cards you can crank out. Only $5 for the class, and $1 per card created. We will be using the "Love Me Do" papers and embellishments, and designing them as we go.
Fri. - Jan. 20 - PJ Crop #2 - 5 p.m. - Midnite! - $5 plus a snack to share.

Playing with acetate overlays and baker's twine

I gotta tell ya!...I'm loving the acrylic overlays we have in the store! I used one sheet to do both of these baby pages. (This is the floral looking blue acetate sections on the pages.) We also have them in black, white, gold, copper, white, pink, silver, and purple. Also, check out the blue and white bakers twine (thin, braided looking ribbon). We also carry it in other colors as well. Striking, yes?

Fun with Glass Etching

Check out the nifty wine glasses and ornament bowl that Kate embossed. Also, she altered the wine box in the background. We carry etching supplies and the wine boxes in the store! I'll bet if we talk to her real sweet, Kate would have a class for us on these items!

Thurs. – Dec. 8 – Spellbinder Christmas Card Class – 6 – 8 p.m. – $25

Bring your scissors, pop dots, and favorite adhesive and come join us as we create 4 gorgeous cards using the awesome Spellbinder dies.

Friday – Dec. 9 – PJ Crop – 5 p.m. – Midnight – $3 plus a snack to share.

Come join us for crafting, laughing, eating, and FUN!

Tues. – Dec. 13 – Fun with Punches – 6 – 8 p.m. – $10

Bring just yourself (and maybe 10 – 20 friends!) for a neat class that will teach you how to get more mileage out of your punches. We will be learning several neat tricks for making your own, inexpensive embellishments out of scrap paper! If you get stuck wondering how to jazz up those boring pages, this is the class for you!

Sat. – Dec. 17 – Learn to Scrapbook - 10 a.m. to noon -$10

Bring 2 to 3 photos of the same event and learn what all the excitement of scrapbooking is about! An awesome way to keep those photos safe, preserve your memories, and have FUN! Bring scissors, adhesive if you have it, and yourself! We will be creating one 12 X 12 page.

Update on Sharon Young's son

Hi All! Jeff is doing FANTASTIC!!! He had to go to his chiropractor the second day he got out of the hospital but he is fine now and doing GREAT! NO pain or problems! Want to thank you sooooo much for all the prayers and love you gave! IT helped him through all of this, and now it is on to RECOVERY and getting his life back! Wish you a HAPPY THANKSGIVING! SHARON

I am in search of 2 or 3 designers for the store. You will be using products we have in the store to do 2 page scrapbook layouts, altered items, class projects, cards, albums, items or page kits to sell in the store, etc. Come in and pick up a design team kit for $4.99 and use it in any project you'd like. The more product you use, the better. We will be choosing 2 or 3 designers for the next year. You will receive free product to create with!!! Details will be announced after design team is chosen. Jeff has a long ways to go yet but we are taking it a day at a time and a step at a time and he is doing really really good.

He was happy to sleep in his own room and in his own bed. We got to bring him home on Thursday afternoon.

Loving Kitty Needs Home

Ladies,

I was "gifted" a kitten that needs a good home. She is very loving and gentle. I really would like to keep her, but one of our dogs would eat her, and she would eat our birds and fish! WAH! She would need to be an inside kitty as she is afraid of cars. Please let me know if you'd like to add a lil' bit o' love to your family! She is black with a tiny bit of white on her chest. I would have posted a pic, but my camera decided to rebel today!

Here is the Page Kit class we will be offering on Monday, Oct. 17, from 6 - 8 or 9 p.m. Bring workshop kits, adhesive, scissors, etc. Page kit class is $40 for the two pages. (I used two complete $7.00 embellishments = $14.00 total for the ivory frame and accent pieces alone!)

Altered items!!!

Ladies,

We are having SO much fun altering items we have found at secondhand stores, etc. We will be having a class to learn how to alter these items on Oct. 20 - from 6 - 9 p.m. The class will be $35 if you use one of the items I have in the store to alter (a small magazine rack, recipe box, etc.), or $25 if you bring your own item in to alter. You will start looking at items in a whole new light! Thanks again, Kate, for being so awesome at discovering new projects that are so much FUN!!! Bev altered the clock, and Kate altered the little pump. Can you even stand it????!!!!

We are having SOOOOOooooo much fun over here, making cards, jewelry, gifts, altered projects, and playing with the new seam bindings and Spellbinder dies we have gotten in. FUN! We also have a TON of new stamps (mainly Christmas, but some others) on the way in. They will be priced and stocked by next Tuesday!

Anyway, I wanted to give you all a "visual" of what we've been doing and what we will be doing for our "It's a Homemade Christmas" classes, upcoming card classes, etc. It is never too early to start preparing for Christmas, whether it be cards, gifts, etc.

Look at the nifty Halloween cards we will be making! We will be learning how to use distress inks, distressing tools, the Grand Calibur machine and several Spellbinders dies, AND playing with the new (and might I say AWESOME!!!) seam binding!!! Thanks to Kate for bringing some in and showing me why it is a "must have" item for the store! Way to go, Kate!!!

Also, here are pictures of the Christmas ornament (It's a Homemade Christmas Class), front and back sides are different (pictured here). Come learn how to make them and then go home and have fun! This ornament has "snow" in the globes on both sides of the card. You can shake them and make it snow! Cute!!!!

The angel globe card will be a part of the "Christmas Globe" card class - date and price TBA. Aren't these gorgeous??? Once you take the class to learn how to make these, you can purchase supplies to create more on your own. Again, there is snow in the globe to shake. Ka-UTE!!!
