New Product In!

Here are the new lines from Bo Bunny I was blogging about earlier....Peacock Lane, Block Party (can be used for family/reunion/or boy pages) and Calypso. NICE!

ATC Club?

There are several ladies who are interested in starting an ATC (Artist Trading Card) Club here at Got 2B Scrappin'. We would probably try to meet monthly to make, exchange, and share ideas for these cute little cards! Please call the store if you would like more information, or would be interested in such a club.

New Beginning Quilling Kits!

I have two homeless Quilling Kits for Beginners in the store. I ordered these for a customer who since decided she didn't want them, so I probably won't be re-ordering. If you've ever wanted to dabble in quilling, or want a unique summer kit to do with your kids, grandkids, neighbor kids, husband, neighbor, neighbor's cat, or anyone else....now is the time to come in and purchase one!

More Fun with Acrylics!

This is just a "practice" piece...but can you visualize the possibilities? This is a 3 D Glitter gel applied through a stencil directly onto a piece of acrylic. I am SO going to use this technique on my next acrylic album, card, or embellishment. LOVE it!

June Calendar in a Year Kits Ready to Roll!

June Calendar Page Kits are done and cut, so call and come in to get yours completed!

New Bazzill Cardstocks In!

Bev got bored with the old Bazzill cardstocks, so she added 40 new colors. Come in and check them out!

Deep Embossing!

Again, pictures don't do this card justice, but this was probably my favorite technique. The word "Believe" underneath the angel is embossed and stamped so that the end result looks like an actual metal plate. Adorable!!!

Distress Embossing!

We played with the distress embossing which is very helpful to use when you have fussy, decorative stamps with lots of detailing.

Glitter effect.

Using the same stamp, we used a different embossing technique that ended up glittering the entire front of the card in one easy step. Nice!

Crackle Effect

Again, you can't tell from the picture, but this card was embossed with an ultra thick enamel and then crackled! It is SOOOoooo pretty!

The Heat is ON Card Class!

Here is another picture of Kate's amazing card class. I attended the class myself, and am totally amazed at what you can do with the embossing powders, Versamark, heat gun, etc. It is SO hard to do these cards justice via pictures on the blog site, but I'll attempt to explain each technique a bit. We had 6 ladies in this class, and they all really enjoyed it! Remember, we are offering the class again on Mon. the 21st (this coming Monday) from 6 - 8 p.m. Drop by the store or call to pre-pay and register. We still have a few openings for this second class open.

Fun, fun, FUN with acrylics!

Here are pics of the PK Glitter Glitz we've been playing with. Aren't they cute? It is very easy to stamp any image on a 12 X 12 piece of acetate (which we carry!!!) or a transperancy (which we also conveniently carry!~~~) and then "color" the back with the special 3D glue and apply glitter. I am so in love with this new technique. They make absolutely adorable cards or embellishments and are a great way to put some pizzazz back into those tired old stamp sets we all have.

The rolling ball tip glides smoothly, resulting in a clean, controlled application. The opposite end features a flat, nylon paddle for setting your rub-on.
